do you get a card when you do DDP

we are staying at OKW (first time just bought in) and dont really know the process for how DDP works...Also how does the tickets work we are buying 7 day park hopper plus water park passes...are these cards that get scanned or what

The DDP credits are tied to your room key. For the basic DDP, you get 1 TS credit, 1 CS credit and 1 snack credit for each person for each night of your stay. All of the keys have access to the room's credits.

If you buy your tickets when you check in, they will add them to your key as well (unless you request them to be separate. If so, you will get "paper" tickets). You just put your room key through the entrances turnstiles mechanism - just like you do with the paper tickets. The mechanism scans the magnetic strip on the back of your room key for your ticket entitlements.
