Hi everyone,

In my desire to go on a great Disney Vacation that I booked a good year in advance. I feel like I'm wishing the year away so I can be on my Disney vacation. I booked my trip a year ago, and all I do is hope the months go by so fast so I can be there. I started to think about it and thought that maybe this isn't such a good idea, I mean living for the day seems to be a lost art.

Does anyone go through this same dilema?

Later Dudes and Duddetts.

We did this 2 Christmas's ago when the kids knew we were going the day after. It was horrible. The kids kept bugging us and we couldn't enjoy the holdiays in anticipation of the trip. We fixed it this year though. They got the trip as a Christmas present, part of Great Grandma's last gift to them. We knew and began planning last May, kids knew about 6 hours before we left! Grammy, I hope was smiling down on us and we enjoyed the holidays!

yes i really do! I have got my next vacation booked for November and not only do I gave my DIS countdown running but also my screensaver at work changes every day to tell me how many days are to go!

If DIsney wasn't so cool then we wouldn;t have this problem! ha ha
:wave2:

I seems like I live from one trip to the next...What happens in between? Filler....::yes::

Yes, every day when I come to work tired and say "I can't wait for this day to be over" Isn't that horrible? There are some days that all I want is to be home--especially because my day begins so early. I am definitely not a morning person.:)

You gotta put a little break into each day. No sense in wishing your life away:earsboy:

Yes - I wish my life away from late Oct./early November - until mid-April when I can get back up to the lake house and open it up again..

I know I shouldn't - but it's hard to explain.. The atmosphere is SOOOOOOO different up there.. Very quiet and extremely laid back.. It's like traveling back in time to when things were SO simple! I love it there...my espcape from the "real" world..;)

I don't, but I have a friend who does. It drives me nuts. Let's just say she's rapidly on her way to becoming an aquaintance because I just can't take any more of her negative way of looking at things. Very draining.

Yep ::yes:: , but what a way to go...:cloud9:

I feel, if I don't plan our vacation, it won't get done. My husband loves them once we are there, but he would never plan one.
I LOVE planning our vacation and looking forward to them. That is why I am on this board EVERY DAY:crazy: !!! If it were up to me, we would live in FL and I would be there every chance I get...Is that obsessive???:happy2:
Some times day-dreaming about vacation is better then cleaning the house:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I had a nightmare last night! I dreamed our upcoming trip to WDW was over; we were coming home! I enjoy the anticipation as much as the actual trip.
