Do you ever think/dream of new types of DVC perks?

I have said this before. Don't you wish they had this little DVC Bank for leftover points. Where as a member you could deposit up to so many a year..maybe 5 or 10 that you would lose otherwise or could not transfer to someone because they were banked already. Then also as a member.....you could withdraw a few each year like once a year. I am sure there are times when people just need a few points. Even let us pay cash for the ones we withdraw or get cash for the ones we deposit...but there is a limit per year to how many we could deposit and withdraw. I would love that. :thumbsup2

:cloud9::cloud9::cloud9: Another DVC dream of mine. INTRODUCING ......The Dining Plan Designed By You. :rotfl2: Where you can pick and choose which plan or a combination of plans. I would love to be able to pick how many days in a given stay I would like to use the DDP. SO maybe we stay 7 nights but only want to buy the plan for 3 days out of the 7. Or mix up the plans. Maybe add the deluxe plan for one day and maybe add 2 of the quick service days. A nice DVC ONLY PERK. I am sure this would never ever ever happen but MAN IT SURE WOULD BE GREAT.

DVC actually hopes you won't use those 5 or 6 leftover points. That's money in their pockets.

Same with the current dining plan. They count on people not using some of their credits.

Wish all you like, but I don't think either of these will ever happen. But you never know.

I would like to see an annual park pass that is good at both WDW and at DL!!! When we started thinking about planning a 2nd trip this year we found what I would call decent ($211 pp) airfare to LA and for a minute I thought "OH! We could exchange points to stay at Paradise Pier or something and go to DL instead!" Well, that bubble burst as soon as I remembered that our AP's wouldn't work at both places.:headache: So FL it is again. Just a matter of economics. But a shared pass would be AWESOME!! We would like to mix it up and go to the left coast sometimes!:goodvibes And I'm sure there are many DVC'ers on the West Coast that visit DL for a few days every year but who also travel to FL...they would also benefit from a shared pass.

Just a thought for all the kool-aid drinkers out there!

Great one my friend great one.

We DVC folks are never happy are we. WE WANT MORE AND WE WANT IT ALL.:laughing::laughing::laughing:

How about a fast pass for each ride at WDW that you get at check-in ? That way members can have ever MORE laid back trips :cool1:

Doesn't cost WDW anything, and shouldn't throw that much of a wrench in the exisint FP system.

OMG! I just said the same thing to my DH today! We will be in Vegas in May and have a few DP left and was thinking we would drive over to DL for a few nights and realized our AP don't work there! :lmao:

I'd like one step further...
How about a pass that is good for Disney Parks around the world?!

DH and I talk about this all the time. Different prices would be okay for just US parks or world-wide parks, but why not just include world-wide parks?

Disney should think of their APs as marketing (incentive to get people to travel to their other parks) instead of just an admission discount.

If not for each ride, how about a couple person.

How about basing it on either the number of points you own or the number of points you're using on that trip ?

Dream Fast passes for each park for each person on the ressie.

Hate to quote myself - but just realized that if that happened you could have DVCers adding on just to get additional FPs :rotfl2:

how about giving us an 100+10 for dining reservations? Just give us that extra ten days....come on...pretty please...that would get some of us out of our villas and into the park restaurants.....

Ok, I know this could never work, so don't flame me. How's this for dreaming:
An Exclusive DVC Gold Membership. With this membership you get the 11 month privelage at every resort.:cloud9:
Oh to dream:goodvibes

I would think they would offer more discounts on park passes besides AP's. Also, discounts on dining plans. Disney already has our money, why not give some of it back. :confused3

You'd be ten days late. You really want 100+10 so you get a ten day jump on all the others.

This is just so fair -- why should DVC guests have to compete with people staying off-site?

We're just in the planning stages of buying now, but one of the things that I am surprised DVC doesn't have is a way to convert aging points into some cash value, like DDP credits, room credits, or gift cards -- it wouldn't be the full value of the points, so Disney would still be making money, but it would save people from completely losing their points.

I think DVC hopes people will not be able to use points from time to time. That becomes money in DVC's pocket. Kind of like not using dining credits.
