Do you ever stay long enough that you feel like you're done when you leave? I don't mean feeling like you need to go home because you have to tend to work, school, family, etc. I mean you've experienced everything that you wanted to experience and you feel like your vacation is over. If you have had that experience, was it after a certain number of nights or a certain number of overall visits?

The longest we did was 15-16 nights I can't remember which at POR and we were done. We had used all our DVC points for a family trip and still wanted to go. That was too long but I think it had more to do with the room then the length. I would love to have enough points to extend our summer trip to that many nights and see how we feel.

I just tested this question. We just stayed Apr. 22 - May 19. I wondered before we went if that was going to be too much and if it would get monotonous. It wasn't! It was just DH & I for the first three weeks and then our adult sons joined us May 9 - 18 (so that definitely changed things up a bit). We had a great time and we are already planning two trips for next year. We toured differently for sure since there wasn't pressure to "get it all in". It made for a much more relaxing experience.

9 nights is the longest we’ve stayed… so far 😉 And many 7 or 8 night trips. None of these trips were enough to do everything we would’ve liked. I can still say for the 8 & 9 night trips we were ready to leave at the end. It seems we go harder on shorter trips and spend much more time relaxing on longer trips.

It’s one of the reasons I love doing 3 to 5 night vacations!!!

Not only at WDW, but for cruises too! Its why I planned my retirement the way I did…instead of a month in January, I will do shorter trips every month!

I’ll hit WDW about 6 times and cruises or other trips the rest! Goal is almost every month!!!

That sounds like my kind of retirement plan! Goals! 🙌🏻

I did 17 nights at BRV a few years ago and expected to feel that way. I didn’t. I am more limited by my wallet than by my desire to be there.
We did 15 nights in late April to early May and had a great time. Left satisfied but didn't do everything we would have liked to do. It was also a mix of WDW and Universal including the new EPIC park.

The only extended hours event we have done at WDW is Moonlight Magic (our first one this last trip) so one of these years we'll have to do one of the holiday events at WDW. We have done one OBB at DLR.

For Disneyland, after a good 6 days or so it's a great trip and I'm ready to go home and come back in a few weeks/months.

We are from the UK and prior to being DVC owners we did a 21 day stay at POR and it was just right, we usually do 15-18 days dow and always feel like we need a bit more time there when its time to come home…21 days we felt like it was just about time to leave for home (until our next magical visit 👍🏻)

We did 8 nights at WDW followed by 4 nights at DHHIR followed by 16 nights back at WDW in Jan ‘23. So almost a month at Disney properties and we were ready to go home at the end. We’ve decided that 14-20 days is our sweet spot for long trips.

For shorter trips I’m ready to back after about 2 months 😂

Stayed an entire month and was not done. Have been "done" many times in any one of the parks. How many times can I sit on Pirates or the HM?

I feel ready to leave Disneyland after 3-4 days and Disney World after about 7-8 days. We get the Lightning Lane Multipass, so at the end of the trip we are riding things for the 3rd-5th time. I also want to leave before the magic runs out, so basically leave wanting a little more. That makes the wait for the next trip more exciting.
