Do you ever say yes when you really want to say no............

without boring you with the whole story, I said yes to an activity that I should have said no we can't make it to.
It will make our day too long and crazy if we add that other thing into our other commitments,
I should have said no when it came up, I said yes.
if we don't go it won't cause any big problems, its a casual thing,

so have you ever said yes when you should have said no, and how do you change your mind when you come to your senses and realize you should have said no.

Yes, I have, all too often. I tend to get roped into volunteer commitments.

But I started to re-evaluate things last summer and decided that if the commitment was something I could do with my family, I would do it. If it took away from my time with my family, I would say no. And I am proud to say that I dropped to long-term commitments and said no to several others.

Saying no is getting easier. I just needed some practice.

My wife says "yes" to everything. Drives me nuts.

I don't. If I want to say "no", I say "no". Not to sound rude or full of myself, but I don't care what other people think of me if I say "no".

Makes life a whole lot easier!

someone else just backed out that probably should have said no too
so I also just said my apologies,and said we couldn't do it, it would make my day too crazy and stressed.

I am going to have to take the advice given here and not care what anyone says or thinks, and think before I respond to things.
