Do you ever find yourself mis-reading words in a title

I thought we could use a completely off topic thread for a little levity.

I was just logging into my email and I read "Star stuns in ugly leather dress" what it actually said was "Star stuns in edgy leather dress". Has this ever happened to you?

Yes. But I can’t recall one off the top of my head .. although sometimes USA presidential articles I think I’m reading wrong , then it’s actually reality ... lol

Well I just read the title of this one and must need glasses because there was an extra ti and no l in there... so I guess so

Yup I agree - I just read my fortune cookie and thought it said you are a frustrated person and I thought boy that is harsh for a fortune cookie but it was actually you are a trusted person. Totally different don't you think?

I misread stuff all the time. Mishear things too.

AM peeps may recall the recent conversation about the Rexall coupons where I read the line about letting the 'POS work it out' as piece of s#@t.....when, and I knew what the abbrev meant, it was point of sale.
