Do you ever feel your Kids take your for granted?

Nope but that is only because the oldest is only 7 give them time to figure it out hehehe.

Pretty much everyday. DS is 12 and has no clue all that I do for him other than the everyday cooking, cleaning, etc. During hockey season I probably put 1500 miles on my van running him to out of state hockey games and that's only the beginning.

How old your kids?

I think in time he'll realize how much I do and won't take me for granted. I'm hoping it's just an age thing.

I KNOW that I take my mom for granted much too often. She does a lot for me!! When I stop and realize it every so often I give her a ring to tell her she's the best!!

My kids take me for granted. You'd think they'd be a little more grateful, coming from a shelter and all. But it's always "Feed me! Hold me! Pet me! Clean my litterbox!"

With my kids... yeah, mine are still very young and take me for granted all the time. I hope that as they grow older they'll mature and stop taking me for granted. A mom can only hope. LOL

I know I was a terror as a teen and totally took advantage of my parents. Now, at 24 and married I realize how much they did for me, and still do. I try to go out of my way now to do stuff for my parents and show them how much I appreciate them.

I know when I was younger I took my parents for granted...not like in an obnoxious way, acting up kind of way...but I know there were many times I just didn't realize everything they did for me.I just took it for granted that they would take me where I needed to be and feed me and stuff like that.

As I grew older, I realized how important they were to me, this was only eximplified when I was away at college...I thank them every day for everything they have done for me.

Of course they take you-me for granted, that's why they are children.
I don't think too many young people realize what their parents went through, till they are much older.
