This is such a funny thread. I usually feel like a loser when I post, but on the serious stuff that I've posted I've gotten a lot of responses and that's where it counts, when you really need the prayers and pixie dust. I do wish I was a tad more popular though!!

When that happens to me I just figure there are probably thousands of "lurkers" out there reading my posts, laughing and saying "wow, she's so smart and witty, I wish I knew her", but they are just to shy to come out and say so.

Here's my problem -- I live on the West Coast and tend to be a late night DIS'er. It's embarrassing to go to the home page of the board I'm on and see my name as the last poster on about ten or fifteen threads right in a row. And then by morning, everything I've responded to is so buried that the only way I can find it is to use the "search" function!

So, as you can see Monorail Dude, you are in very good company. So what if we're insecure, thread-killing losers...one day we will rule the DIS world!!!

Sure we all feel unpopular sometimes but so what -- I'm never gonna meet you most likely. I've been here since 1998 when there was one board and I'm NOT going away! I try to purposefully post on threads when no one else has for that reason. You should try it, just look for all the ones with 0 or 1 replies and said - That is Cool! or Awesome! or I'm so sorry or whatever applies!
