A.) I people watch on the DIS all the time, so I notice you alot!

MonorailDude, I suppose many Disers feel that way from time to time. I certainly do! There are times when I don't get the reaction expected from a post I've made and can only assume people here find me odd. But then, someone here goes and surprises me. That's just it.....you never know what's going to happen or who you'll find yourself having online fun with! Hang in there....fun's on its way. See?????

I have a tight relationship with the Tag Fairy through the boards. There was an actual War of Tags chnging on a Tag Fairy thread. Pretty much all mine though.

Remember this with Tags though. When you have a few they are longer. But as tags increase they are made shorter and are rephrased. I actually miss having my four longer tags sometimes.

I do think that for the most part people here post in response to what interests them, not always who is posting, of course I am a human interest junkie and I have gotten addicted because I want to know about how things will turn out for certain people, with divorces, custody battles and every crazy thing that happens to Delswife. I have gotten bigger responses to questions when I phrase them in a way that asks people about themselves. It is human nature to want to talk about yourself. I also like to look at the threads where people are having a problem that needs a point of view, like yours!

Time of day is important too, things get lost over lunch and in early evening because of volume of posts as far as I can tell. Hope that helps!

And to make you feel better -

someone on the Disneyland board asked for input on a hotel. I posted a reply since we had stayed there recently. No response, but no big deal - I was just giving info.
Then someone else posted saying they were going to stay there soon and would post when they got back.
The OP jumped right back on and said they would look forward to a report about the hotel.

Hello... maybe I just imagined that I had given my opinion.

Oh well.

Sometimes I notice that I'll post a reply in a thread and all the posts before and after mine get commented on, but mine is ignored.

I don't take it personally, though. I just figure people are too dazzled by my wit to respond!

Seriously though, you never know what people will grab onto...don't worry about it!

To the OP: Yep, I think the DIS can be an easy place to get lost in the shuffle at times but I don't think it's personal, it's just the speed this board moves at because of the number of people here.

I tend to do okay with inane chatter on the CB...but I can have a hard time getting legitimate Disney related info on the Theme Parks, Resorts or Restaurants boards...go figure! What really bothers me is that my Trip Report for DLP has never been included in their Trip Reports index, even though I even asked!
