Do you ever bring Food from home to the resort?

I always bring a small suitcase full of food; cereal, crackers, snack bars, etc. Then I use the suitcase for souvenirs for the trip home.

ditto to thaat...only this trip my suitcase of goodies was boycotted by my DH! He says we don't need all that extra food b/c of the DDP...but I LIKE THE EXTRA SUITCASE FOR ALL of my treasures!!!pirate:

We are on the DDP but we still bring some breakfast and lunch items. Since we only get 2 meals a day, one meal is eaten in the room. It seems this year we need to eat breakfast 4 times and lunch 2 times in the room. so we bring lunch stuff, cereal, milk and some snacks. I was actually thinking of bringing a toaster this year, but we don't have the minivan anymore and I don't know how much I can fit in the CRV.

Yep, we do. Usually breakfast, snacks for the parks, and a few drinks.

Yes,
Always even though we fly. I bring instant oatmeal and run hotwater through the coffee maker for a nice quick breakfast. I bring granola bars, the individual Crystal Light packs and a few other snacky type things. I may try to pack a littel more this trip because I have found it is so nice just for the convenience factor to be able to eat breakfast, even lunch in the room and have snacks handy then to have to go out to get them.

We are on the DDP also, but we are still taking snacks like chips, snack cakes and peanuts for the ride down. We will get more things like cereal, sandwhich meat and cheese, water and milk when we get there. I also take my coffee pot for coffee and to brew hot water for instant grits! Gotta have them grits!!! :thumbsup2

Whats an otter pop?

That's those little popsicles that come in the sealed plastic tubes. You just buy them off of the shelf and then throw them in the freezer when you want them to freeze into popsicles.

from home I had coffee (I'm picky about coffee), coffee filters, powdered lemonade , and a thermal carafe. We never purchased the refillable mugs, as my children are too young for soda.

With our snack credits, we purchased 1 boxes of Entemann's donuts, a 1/2 gallon of milk every day, a loaf of bread, and a jar of peanut butter for the entire week. This was equal to 9 snack credits out of 24 .

This worked out well for my family.

That's what we do, too. I also bring disposible bowls and spoons for cereal. It works out so much better for us to have a quick breakfast in the room, head straight to the parks and not have to stop and eat there...:)

We bring poptarts and toast them in the cafeteria- or eat them cold. We also bring microwave popcorn. I buy the kids one of the large popcorn buckets (in all of the parks) and then a bag of micro popcorn fits into it. We also bring a lot of the before mentioned snacks. I also bring sandwich size ziplock bags- to put snacks in, little trinkets and many other odds and ends.
