Do you eat less at the parks in the summer?

I am trying to plan our food budget, but we have never gone to Disney in the hot months until this year. I planned as though we would eat normally, but I'm thinking I may have over budgeted,..hope so

Just wondering if it's too hot to eat big meals during the day at the parks? I have ADR table service for 1 lunch meal, the rest of lunches will be counter service all before 12:00 pm and table w/ ADR's for dinner all before 6pm. (The buffets are of course already price set, so I know how how much we'll spend at those dinners)

I know when we go to Kings Island in the summer, we aren't very hungry...but hey, that's not DISNEY right?!!

Just wondering how your family eats in the hotter months at Disney,..normal, more than normal, or less than normal ???

where we live it`s summer all year round.. so we are kind of used to the weather but walking in the parks for hours with the sun beating you down does take the wind out of you..we are going next tuesday and plan to do as we always do..have a nice breakfest, very lite lunch like share a hot dog and some fruit and have a real nice sit down dinner at about 7 or 8.
It always works for us!!!!

Eating is kind of an afterthought for us in the summertime. At home we're in the pool usually by 9:00 and then we may think about a snack or sandwich late in the afternoon. Dinner is usually something on the grill. It's usually the same at Disney. We'll eat breakfast every day and then stop for a a snack or late lunch and maybe eat dinner, maybe not. I've got a breakfast ADR for Chef Mickeys, a late lunch at Rainforest Cafe at AK, and Hollywood and Vine booked for the Fantasmic Package. The last couple of times we've gone in cooler weather and were on the dining plan, but not in the summer!
