I usually bring a cake of some kind to my family's T-giving dinner. This year I volunteered to make the pumpkin pie, which I have never made before- at all! I found a good recipe in a Cooking Light magazine, complete with a streusel (sp?) topping.

I know what you are thinking: you have to really try to screw up pumpkin pie, how hard can it be?? Well I made 2 and took one to our in-laws last night. There was only 1 slice left! I was so proud of it!!!

So if you are making something new that you are proud of, here's a pat on the back from me!!!!

Good job! That sounds really good with the streussel topping.

I'm not making anything new or different this year. Just dried beef dip and deviled eggs.

I'll take that pat on the back if I'm able to stay out of the dip and eggs before we take it to my mom's though.
