We are doing the 1/2 day (10:00 - 1:00)Captain MArvin in Grand Cayman. They don't say anything about a lunch, so do/can you bring your own food?

I'm sure you could bring your own food along. They will have water and fruit punch on board.

We chose not to bring food and headed back to the ship for lunch instead.

We had room service bring us some sandwiches which we packed into zip locks and put in a softsided cooler with some zip locks of ice. It wouldn't have been the end of the world if we had waited, but it did give us the opportunity to snack while moving locations.

Good idea. My wife and I are OK, but the three kids will certainly start the "I'm hungry" whine!

We were starved after this excursion but we went to Hard Rock which was very convenient to the tender dock. Sometimes packing food on a snorkeling excursion and I'm not sure where you would stop to eat it?

My DH and I made sure the kids DD 13 and DS 6 ate a big breakfast that morning. We brought along some small bags of pretzels. ( I threw them in my bag as an after thought). The kids had zero intrest in eating while the trip was going on, but on the ride back to the dock I passed out the snacks. That helped the kids until we could get back to the ship for some chicken tenders and pizza! Yum! Have a Grand time. LOL
