Do you believe in Angels??

Without question, there are angels! :)

WVJules ~ I know what you mean about questioning God's existance sometimes. You read about some atrocity like a someone (I won't call them Mothers/Fathers b/c they don't deserve the title) torturing a child and you wonder Where's God?? And yes I know all that free will crap. But I think thats a load of *@#$ . I have children who I love with everything I got and I'm imperfect (don't tell my DH ). I would never say let them play with a loaded gun and say " Oh well they have free will". Now God who is perfect loves us his children ~ right?, so how does he allow some of the horrors we see to go on?? Very confusing. We need the Scarecrow to figure this one out.

LittleClover ~ God Bless You. I'm in awe of your strength and grace.

Dmadman ~ :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: But our Yankees are still in !!

AZKathy~ WOW!! After those episodes you must have needed a stiff drink. (don't know what happened to my bold, computer newbie)

Thanks everyone for replying and giving me some thoughts to ponder.

Yes, I do.

(Check out 4nana's siggie) "For He shall give the angels charge over thee, to keep thee safe in all thy ways." Psalms 91:11

I believe that angels watch over babies but that most children stop seeing them before they can talk. DD, now 8, was an early talker and in the evenings, when she was on my lap having a story or a song, she would point to the window and say "See angels." I made sure I didn't show her pictures of what WE think angels look like. I would ask her what color the angels were and she would say that they were red. I never prompted any of this...her "see angels" comments were totally spontaneous. I always tried to keep my response low key, so she wouldn't just keep saying it for attention. I truly believe that she was seeing angels and happened to have the verbal ability to express it.

When my dd was about 3 she wandered off from my aunts house. It was a case of one person thinking she was in the house and another thinking she was with the person outside. When they realized she was missing, just a matter of minutes, she had made her way to a fairly busy street. When my cousin saw her down the street he ran to her. When he got there a man driving by had stopped, realizing this little girl was lost. The man said she kept trying to step out into the street but something kept stopping her. He said it was if someone was pulling her back each time she tried to step down. We all think it was my uncle that was watching over her, he had died a few months before this happened.

Yes, of course I do!

I believe we each have a Guardian Angel. I believe children see them more than adults because of their childlike, pure hearts. I believe they are there for us in times of need. I firmly believe they are there with us when we die.

Absolutely, no question. They're out there. :) Both in "spirit" form, "voice" form, the "human" form of strangers, and working through other people. :)

And I'm absolutely positive I have Guardian Angel(s).

Positively.
I will never forget the time that I was at work, and I had a patient that had just died. I was walking down the hall, just past his room and saw a group of angels, 5 or 6 of them, coming down the hall towards me. They were in flowing white and just off the floor, not walking, but quickly moving. I could see the blurry white of them and I could see through them. I knew exactly what it was. There was and is no doubt in my mind that they were angels.

A little story:

I had a brother pass away a little over a year ago. I go through times where I miss him a lot. Last month we were on vacation and stayed overnight at a Hampton Inn in Elkins North Carolina. My brother used to do wood carvings. He made my other brother an angel holding a golf club. My son and I were going out to get some munchies and he said to me "Wait a minute daddy." He walked over to this stand and said "Look" It was a carving of the exact same angel minus the golf club. Now, my son told me it spoke to him. I asked him what it said, and he told me it told him to come to it and pick it up and show it to me. He would have never been able to see t other wise because it was hidden by a few plants. We went back to the room I was shaking. I told my wife and we all knew Jim was with us.

Really weird huh?

  to those who have lost loved ones...

Yes, I absolutely believe in angels. I do not have any stories or any proof - but I strongly believe there are angels.

My perspective may be slightly different. I spend my days with my mom, (she's on hospice and I'm her caretaker) waiting for her to pass away. She has some interesting conversations with people who aren't here...she's not hallucinating...just that they have come to see her from elsewhere. Although it may sound weird and creepy, it's really very comforting.

Also, we live in a very old "spirit filled" house. Some would call it haunted....I could tell you stories that would really make you believe in spirits! I believe in spirits/ghosts/angels...all those thigns...they are certainly a very big part of my everyday life.

Have a magical day!

Absolutely, YES!! I was on a boogie board in the ocean when I got caught up in a riptide and panicked. I told my daughter to go and get DH and she thought I was joking! I was about to unleash the cord from my wrist ( dumbest thing I could do, I'm sure ), when along came an  who grabbed the board and pulled me in. I couldn't thank him enough and realized just how powerful the ocean can be and how grateful I was for that beautiful angel.:sunny:
