I am trying to make out our schedule for December, and I was wondering do you attend the EMH park or go to a different one that day? Are AM or PM EMHs better?

Thanks! I don't know what I would do without this site.

Rachel

I tried both on my last trip. the morning EMH were great and we got a lot done in that hour. The night emh were hit and miss. MGM was good for us as we covered half the shows (we didn't do TOT or RnR) we wanted to see in those 3 hours which gave us time later in the week to chase characters and see other things at MGM. I will say I noticed epcot was empty the day after the night emh but packed for the emh so you might want to skip them there. MK didn't have emh while we were there at night.

This is just my opinion & may have been just my experience at the times we've gone - but I will avoid EMH like the plague from now on - that means the EMH AND the park that has EMH that day! Too much time wasted getting up early/shoving down breakfast & making a mad dash to the bus - along with everyone else - just to wait in lines & fight the crowds. We found the evening EMH was crazy too - long ride lines & then really long lines getting the buses back to the resorts - not fun when you're tired & cranky & have little ones.

I love EMH! It's great to get in there and get going. Some of my best photos of the Castle were first thing in the morning!

I do the morning ones but we have hoppers and head to another park after lunch.

How crowded will the Early Morning entry to Magic Kingdom be in early Dec.?

We do morning ones but have only done 1 night one. We're too tired by the time midnight rolls around to stay out for the evening ones. All the mornings we have done have been spectacular. We did a morning one in MK and we walked on to just about every ride before the crowds came in. It was great.

At first, everyone loved the night ones. As time goes on, more and more folks say they avoid them.

I do the morning ones where I can fit them in, but avoid the evening ones almost always. The evenings are so crowded. Plus, we can't stay up late and get up early...not that late, anyway - even with a nap.

For me, it is getting to the point that I'm getting ready to start staying in the Downtown Disney area (non-Disney hotels.) Just gotta finish my checklist (3 more to go before I've stayed everywhere. :) )

We do both morning and evening EMHs. Our trips are always during school break. Even with the huge crowds, we've never had problems during EMH.

We are not planning to do any on our upcoming December trip.

Allyson :)
