Do you and your partner share a bed time?

I go up an hour earlier so I can read but when he comes up we both go to sleep.

There are times I fall asleep before he gets there or I’ll say he came up too soon I’ll want to read more. He says I can still read but I don’t .

It depends on the night! I'm always in bed early (teacher and early bird). My husband likes to stay up late but it depends on his day!

At home, never; neither going to bed or getting up. He routinely sleeps about 3 hours a night more than I do. (Him 10:00 to 7:00 and me 12:00 - 6:00). When we're away and staying in a hotel, mostly yes - we split the difference.

Sometimes... it really depends on the circumstances. If we are watching TV downstairs and I fall asleep on the couch, if it's after midnight he knows not to wake me; if he does, I'm apt to be up for the rest of the night. Most nights we go upstairs within about an hour of each other, but it really depends on if either of us has work/grading to do, or want to watch TV that the other doesn't enjoy, or whatever. We both get up around the same time, on either side of 6am, without setting an alarm. The only time I set an alarm on a work day is if the LittleGuy has stayed over and has to be up for school. I just KNOW if I don't set the alarm, we'll all oversleep on those mornings!

Nope. We don't even share a bedroom. He's retired and stays up late @ 1:00 am and sleeps late in the morning @10 am. I'm still working and go to bed around 9-10 pm and am up around 5:30 am. He's on blood thinners that keep him cold all the time and I run really hot. We went to separate bedrooms years ago when he had a really bad cold that was keeping me up at night with his coughing. We both agreed that we slept better separately.

Been retired five years and go to bed at the same time. DW is an early riser, I am not, so the time we get OUT of bed is not the same.
Last 13 years we worked, I had a 3 am start to my work day, DW had a 430 am start time. We would go to bed at the same time and she would get up with me at 2 am and read for an hour or so before having breakfast and getting ready for work.
Only time bed time was different was when we were working and when one of us might have to cover a different shift. My wife would go to bed earlier if she had to be at work at Midnight. Funny thing is, if she had a later shift start, like 830 am, she would still go to bed at the same time as I did. Sometimes she would get up with me at 2 am too and just read or watch something off the DVR.

For the most part yes...... although I really like to go to bed a lot earlier. Many times I will say I am going to go iron the sheets and just go to bed :rotfl2:

Nope. I am a night owl, plus after he and my son go to bed is the only time I get quiet time and can watch a show I want to watch. My husband sleeps from 10-6 and I generally sleep from 12:30/1am-6:45. It is a rare occasion I go to bed at the same time as him.

Similar, I go to bed earlier and get up much earlier, plus he snores very loudly and I am a light sleeper. We both sleep better separately also.

No . DH is usually in bed an hour or so before me. Left over from before we retired. He went in to work usually an hour or two before I did. He usually wakes up an hour to 90 minutes before me.
