Do you always try different resorts?

yes i like to try out different resorts, it makes your vacation different.

next trip it is a toss up between yc cr or gf.

I like to mix it up. One reason no one has mentioned, as the years go by, it helps me have specific memories of each trip. I know POR was my honeymoon, and POP was ds's first trip.... now POFQ will be my first trip.

My first three trips (as a teenager) we always did CBR. It was nice to come 'home' but I prefer to move around when I am the one planning!

Always different, more because our needs change. Right now, with 2 teens, cramming all four of us into a Value isn't appealing. When the kids were little, not a problem.

A moderate was great until I got "Pooh-sized," so now we go deluxe for the queen beds.

Which deluxe? Again needs. Last trip, I got a real bargain at AKL. Loved the resort, hated the bus trips (my oldest threw up due to motion sickness on the way to MK one morning). Loved everything about the Poly, but the kids want more pool time. So, this year, the kids want to swim, a lot, and it's Yacht Club for us.

Maybe some day we'll settle down.

My goal is to VISIT each resort....but only to stay at each one that appeals to me. There's such a variety, I can't settle on just one or two until I know what's out there!

I never thought I'd love FQ, but it was fantastic. This trip we're trying our first value. (pop) We honeymooned at GF, and I have camped at FW. Each vacation has been a new (and magical) experience.

One more week and we'll be there.....

Most of the time I see signatures where people often try different resorts just like myself. But I am curious why. I usually try to switch resorts once a year for my mom. She likes to try something different all of the time while we are at WDW. But if it were up to me I usually am a creature of habit. Once I find some place nice and clean I could continue to go back there again and again. I guess that is why I choose WDW every year for our vacation. I just can't get enough of it.

Each time we switch resorts, it feels like a different trip. We sort of mold our whole trip around which resort we're staying at. For example, if we're staying at BC, then we'll eat a lot of meals right at the Epcot resorts and Epcot countries, and we'll also plan a lot of Epcot and HS days since we can walk back and forth to those parks. We'll also plan a lot of pool days since our kids love the sandy pool. On the flip side of that, if we're staying at CR, then we plan a lot of MK days/nights and make most of our ADR's at the monorail resorts and MK.

I'd like to stay at most of the WDW resorts eventually, but my WDW travel budget has required value resorts lately. And since I usually travel during Pop Warner, I stay at Pop Century! *LOL* If I manage a trip this year, it also will be at Pop Century. It's fine for one person who spends most of her time in the parks.

I am one who doesnt like to move around.. I find something I like and I stick with it.. that being said, Im getting tired of the same old places.. I have stayed at All Star Movies twice, but I do love this one and could stay there over and over.. I have been to POP 4 times.. I loved it the first time and thats why I went back the second time.. the third and fourth time I wasnt real thrilled with it, but again I dont like change.. Me and DH stayed at Caribbean Beach before and while it was ok.. it was just OK.. not great or fantastic..Id be willing to give it another try though..

On my trip with DD last year we stayed at Port Orleans French Qtr and I loved it!! so me and DH are staying there later this year as he hasnt been there before and I want him to try it.. but I think in future I will try out the rest of the Values and then the rest of the moderates... then I guess the only other thing to do is progress to the deluxes!!

We don't go very often, but the two times we have stayed onsite it is at the All Star Music.

I wanted to try a different All Star or Pop, but the family suite at the music swayed me.

I like it there, but I would like to try something new too.

Well I have a few places I really like. AKL CL, CSR for a mod, BWV for the villas. I have had repeats to these a few times but now I kind of want to try out everything so I can really judge what I like best. This year we are trying CR and I am very excited to return here. I have not been since I was about 5 and it had just opened then. I dont remember much but I cant wait to return. Up next are probably Poly and GF. It is part of the excitement for us now.

I'd be happy to go to CBR all the time. The only time we went Deluxe was in November, and only because we didn't have to pay for it. We tried a value, and didn't like it.

I'd like to try the Poly one day, and maybe WL, but other than that, I'm happy with CBR and it fits my budget.
