I have been checking my email for weeks and weeks, hoping for a gift card offer email. Finally last week, I called to see if I could purchase one and the answer was "NO". So I waited until yesterday and called again, same answer, "NO". Both times the CM's told me you HAVE to receive the email with the pin in order to take advantage of the promo (BTW: I was told it ends Jan. 23). So I was SO bummed, but I had resolved myself to the fact that we just weren't going to be able to get one.
Then just moments ago, I was reading here on the Dis and I saw where someone had gotten the deal without the email! I thought I would give it ONE more try and call, but that was going to be it. I wasn't going to stress over this anymore. And lo and behold, the CM asked me which one I wanted, payed for it and then he told me I would get it when we checked in. I couldn't believe it! And before I knew it, I was thanking him for letting me get it when the other CM's wouldn't let me.
He then said, "Uh Oh...I probably shouldn't have given it to you either!" Oh well, he said it's already done and payed for so ENJOY!
Yay for my little bit of pixie dust!
So the moral of my story is "Don't Give Up!" Keep calling and maybe you too will get one!
