Do we really need to do Fan. pkg for early Dec?

We are going to be at MGM the first week of Dec. and want to do Fantasmic. Anyone w/ an opinion on if we really need to do the MM pkg. in order to get our seats? We don't really want to get their an hour early, and wait w/ 2 four yr olds, but aren't sure if we really want to eat at MM either.

Yeah, the thing is, lots of people hit MGM for Osbourne Lights in December, and of course do Fantasmic. So, I would definitely get the package if you don't want to have to spend too much time sitting in the stadium just to get seats.

I have been many times in december and have never used the dinner package and have never waited more than 30 minutes for the show. Try to stay away from weekends though.
