Do we need to keep our Fantasmic Package?

We are planning to go to MGM on Mon, Oct 2.
There are EMH there that evening, AK has early entry and there's MNSSHP at MK.
We have Fantasmic reservations that evening at H &V. I would rather go to Mama Melrose (or 50's), except I've been unable to get a Fantasmic res. @ MM. (My sister has res. at 50's, however that she'll share w/ me if I choose)

How important do you think the Fantasmic res would be under these conditions?

Since MGM has Late EMH that night (per your post), I wouldn't cancel my F! dinner package at all. If another park had the late EMH, and MK had Spectro and it was Oct 2, I'd say go for it, but that Late EMH is like moths to a flame and I'd bet it's going to be more crowded than you'd think for the time of year.

Personally, I've heard much better reviews for H&V than MM, FWIW... But unless you want to get there an hour early (or more) to get a good seat, I'd use the F! dining package at H&V.

Sorry that may not be what you were hoping for...

We'll be at MGM that day too.... We're celebrating DS 4th birthday, and thought he would enjoy that park most (besides MK). We have an ADR at
50's Prime Time for 4:30. Hopefully the crowds won't be too bad because of EMH, we're planning on going to Fantasmic as well. Maybe we'll see you there!!

My sister's res. at 50's is at 4:00. My 4 yr old niece will be w/ us too! Hope to see you there. I'll have a green Mickey on my camera bag., and DN has tons of blonde curls!!!

Granted this was a different time of year but I had Fant. dinner reserv. for HV at the end of Aug. I ended up canceling them and just getting to the show about 45 min early. At that point it was 1/2 filled. Also a slow time of year too. We just didn't feel like eating at any of the 3 restaurants offered. They say that even with the dinner package you should get there 30 min early anyway. I guess it's up to you to figure out if it's worth it
