Do we need jackets in the evenings Christmas week

Hi everyone, Merry christmas! I know I need ponchos but in the evenings do I need jackets? Is it cold for fireworks or is a hoodie enough?

This year? Probably yes. Other years? Anything from t-shirts to your heavy winter jacket.

A sweatshirt is USUALLY enough, but a cold front can dip down and have you wanting a winter coat. Remember that the humidity and wind there chills things down a bit.

Depends on your cold tolerance. Can need anything from a hoodie and/or windbreaker to a heavier coat. Check the temps and pack accordingly.

We go for layers. Some of our last trips have been in December & January, we take a thinner sweatshirt and a heavier one, plus a water proof wind breaker. But by all means look at the forecast and know what your own personal needs are.
