I am planning on us eating at PCH buffet for dinner our arrival day...do we need a reservation? Also one evening I have Carnation Cafe for dinner do I need to make one for that?

while ADR are not as manic or frantic like in WDW, I always make reservations for Disneyland California. Sometimes the restaurants dont take walk ins so if there is somewhere you really want to eat at on a specific day at a specific time , then yes make a reservation. I find having ADR helps me plan and structure my days

We visit during very busy times. My experiences during such times lately have been that a reservation for our group of 4 for PCH Grill dinner was not necessary, but I expect we would have been turned away from Carnation Cafe without a reservation.

Carnation Cafe is always turning people away when we go there, so if you want to eat there, just go ahead and make the reservation.

thanks!! i had no idea Carnation Cafe was so popular!! I went ahead and did both places no I just have our last day left which isnt open and to figure out what we are doing for Fathers day dinner!

If they take reservations, it's always better to have one before you go. Enjoy your trip!
