I wanna book our airfare soon, I'm looking at Mon~Thurs or Tues~Thurs. I called DLR Guest Relations earlier this week and was told that the CM parties will be held on the 8th & 9th ~ no big deal we'll spend the evenings in CA. Would 3 days be enough during this week or will we need 4?

Our family is usually content with 3 days during that time. But, with the CM parties shortening 2 of your nights, I'd personally plan for 4. That wil give you a little bit of breathing space so you don't feel the need to go commando the whole time. Have fun, it's my favorite time to go!

If it were me, one consideration would be which dates I could get the best airfare for. It maybe cheaper to go Tues-Thurs instead of Mon-Thurs. If there's not much difference, though, more Disney is always better :cool1:

I would go with the Mon-Thurs...especially if two of your days will overlap the cast parties...

Well if it's Tues ~ Thur only Tues would be a CM party night, airfare is the same price any of the days so that's no worry, it's an extra day of school missed, an extra day of work missed and another night to pay for at HoJo's (ent. rate so we got a deal) I hope to go back March or April of next year as well. I figure we'll get to DLR 10:30~11am our 1st day and need to leave around 5~5:30 our last day.

Yay! We are going the same time as you although we are going for 5 days. We are staying at the Hojo and are from Utah. We just can't seem to get enough Disney. We were there last March and it was just a little too busy for off season. So now we are really excited to go and see the Christmas decorations and the parades and the fireworks.

I am hoping it is quiet like it was in Sept. 07 when we went for my b-day. We just walked on the rides and only waited about 15 minutes for ToT. There weren't even any fast passes available it was so quiet. :confused3

Two years ago when we went during cm parties DL hours were 9:00-6:00 and CA hours were 10:00-9:00. The remainder of the week days park hours were DL 9:00-8:00 and CA 10:00-6:00. So.... how many days you need will depend on how much you think you can get done during those hours. Personally, I would rather spend too much time than not enough! However, you do make some valid points if money is an issue. Good luck with your dilema. (don't you just hate these kind of decisions!)
