do we have to dress up 3 times on the western if we have PLA?

I am guessing we will have PLAPLAP on our cruise because the kids will be 6,9,10,12, and 15. My own family had this on the Wonder and it was fine. However, on the western this puts us in Animators for the formal and semi-formal night. ARe we still expected to be in semi-formal for Lumieres? That would mean 3 nights dressed up (one lumiere's night is the mexicali). The guys are just bringing suits for formal and semi-formal.
I wore capris and a nice sweater to Tritons on the Wonder and felt underdressed, but I don't want to bring too much dressy stuff.

We did the western and had the rotation that was LAP, I think that was it. Definitely L first though. We only "dressed up" for the formal and semi formal, where ever they were. The other nights at L, I wore a skirt, nothing terribly dressy. We were dressed middle of the road. Some more dressy, some less dressy. We were comfortable is.

No, on the 7-night cruises you just follow the dress code for the evening. Lumiere's is NOT any different from the other restaurants; unlike on the Wonder where at Triton's they suggest you dress up a little bit. But with two formal/semi-formal nights on the 7-night cruise they do not add to that with another dressy suggestion for Lumiere's.

Robin - we were just on the July 19 cruise and we had LAP for our rotation and we only really dressed up for the formal and semi-formal. Other nights, including a night at Lumiere's that wasn't a formal or semi-formal, we wore capris and dd wore a skirt or slacks. Not dressy like the formal and semi-formal and everyone else was pretty much like that also. Your navigator will tell you what the dress is for the night.
