Hit for DD is the new American girl doll kaya.

And for older DD is was the palm pilot

Misses.....can't think of any.

The palm pilot is sooooo cool.
My great aunt and uncle always buy me something I can't use..this year it was dusting powder...and i don't wear makeup..i can't even get to the freaking powder! So that was my only miss.

I don't have any little ones around but I love reading the lists!:)

LOL. I just asked my 8 yr old what his favorite and non favorite were, and he said quote "Everything was 100% great.:)
Of course the most we've seen him doing is playing with his LOTR figures and watching the DVDs he and his sister got. And, they got lots of those!:)
Kim
(Of course my daughter's fav was her new camcorder! (expensive tastes!)

Mostly hits with my 2 little ones....

DD, 2yo-
hits-
Bitty Baby stuff...various clothes and accessories, including a matching outfit for her.
wooden sandwich kit and pizza kit for her kitchen
Jessie doll
Bitty Bunch animals, dollhouse and tea set

miss-
doll that cries that my dad and stepmom got her

There are a few other things that the jury is still out on...including a Musini and a doll similar to an American Girl that I want to replace her My Disney Girl (doll from WDW) with. The Disney Girl is very poor quality...loses tons of hair every time we brush it, the hair is thin to begin with, and it tangles really easy. The new doll is made by Gotz and is almost as nice as an AG, though a lot cheaper (actually it was less than the Disney Girl and much nicer!)

DS, 7yo-
hits-
Harry Potter Legos and other stuff (art books, shirts)
Leap Pad magazine about making movies (w/Daniel Radcliffe on the cover)
LOTR toys
Bionicles
Woody doll (don't tell anyone! LOL!)
Aloha Stitch

misses-
Playmobil space station (...oh he just said it was one of his favorites...but he hasn't played with it much yet)
Phonics tiles (his sister seems to like them better)
Lego Scary laboratory (played with it when he got it but hasn't touched it since)
Leap Pad books on geography and the human body (haven't been opened yet though his initial reaction was favorable)

Wow....we were just saying today that we liked how much less stuff our kids got this year....but it was still a lot! Cool, more room to scale back next year!

Cool thread! Amazing how the American Girls seem well received by all the girls.
