Do WDW in mid-March or mid-April ? Weather better ?

Ok- we went to WDW June 2002 , after school ended and it rained every day
Now just back from a beautiful week, May 2003.

But my kids missed tons of tests and HW from school

OK lesson learned - no more taking kids out of NY Catholic schools.

Kids want a year off from Disney. Sorry- they want Hershey Park,
PA next summer.

So, Easter 2005 is mid-March and Easter 2006 is mid-April.
March is 3.5 inch rain & temps 76-56
April is 2.42 inch rain & temps 83-60

NY weather better in April (most likely no snow) than in March.

If we do Easter we can stay 10 days - Holy Thursday though the following week, and not miss a day of school.

Would you pick March 2005 or April 2006 ?

Yes - I know there will be crowds - but we do not mind. It'll be
our 3rd time at WDW.

I like March...weather is warm enough to swim, but not hot enough to feel like you're gonna die if you stay out in the sun more than 10 minutes.

We went April 10th-20th (2002). It only rained one day while we were there and the temps. were around mid 80's(high temps.). I didn't think the crowds were that bad but then I remember going at Christmas time as a child and it was PACKED ! I think you should go when you have the most time to throughly enjoy it.

We went last year 4/4-4/15. We only had 1 day of rain. However, it was hot, hot, hot!!!!! It was in the upper 80's-low 90's most days. However, they did say it was unusually warm. That the temps were more like May temps. So, who knows.

We tend to take DS out of school. His school is real lienent about it. He does well, and doesn't seem to have a hard time picking up where they left off. I for one am not into huge, huge crowds so I try to stay away from them.
