Do u think its crazy to go with a toddler and an infant during Christmas week?

We are going from the 23rd to the 31st (cant change dates). I was planning on touring MK and Ep on the 23rd and 24th and debating about whether to go after that since the crowds will get crazy from Christmas day onwards.

We are going with a 3yo and an 11mo. In addition, wild horses will not drag DH out of bed before 9am. Should I just buy a 2 day ticket? or do u think I will be able to get into the parks and see something during christmas week (especially since we wont arrive at the park before 11am)

We are staying offsite at a resort.

No I don't think you are crazy to go. Both kids can sit in a stroller and even if you only get to do half of the stuff it is still better than none at all.

Actually, the crowds will be busy by the Wednesday before Christmas and hideous by Friday. If you are staying off site you may want to tour Magic Kingdom on the 23rd and Epcot on the 24th since Epcot can take larger crowds a bit less painfully than Magic Kingdom. Don't even bother on Christmas Day, unless you have no other choice. Magic Kingdom is likely to close to further guests by 10am on Christmas Day.

If you go knowing it's going to be shoulder to shoulder and you aren't going to see a lot, you can still have a great time and enjoy the parks. Just be realistic in your expectations and let the flow carry you.

I went in august once with a 3 year old and 13 month old. It was the worst week of my life because I was with my husbands entire family who go commando style every day. We've been at Christmas with kids older and can handle it, but I don't think I could've with them that small. Be prepared for unbelievable crowds and long lines. On the other hand, decorations are great, weather is great, and most people are in good moods.

I had thought of doing Epcot first bc MK will be hosting extra magic hours on the 23rd which would mean extra crowds.

Arriving at 11AM could be a big problem for you during this time. There is a good chance the parks could be closed before you get there and, being an offsite guest, you are not guaranteed entrance into any park.

You need to rethink the sleeping in late routine. Also, if you get into the park, be prepared for long waits for the attractions, especially the ones your 3 yr old will want to do - Dumbo, Pooh's Honeypots, Peter Pan's Flight, etc. You are looking at 75-90 minute waits on some of these.

You need to get some wild horses and bring them along.

Be prepared for the possibility of a disappointing trip.
