Do they still open up later Fantasmic! dining package times closer to "the day"?

I've never used the package before but I have a 3:30 MM one May 31st. I remember reading here a couple years ago about how they open up more (LATER) seating as it gets closer to the day. They still do that?

This 3:30 ADR is a thorn in my side, but don't want to give it up since I have to go to F! this year. DGD7 wants to see it bad...
