Do they still check your AP voucher against the purchase receipt?

We got AP's for xmas....ours come up for renewal in Feb....however my Dad did not give us the receipt. I remember last year we had the receipt and guest services checked it against the plastic store vouchers....do they still do this?

I have never had them do that.

I exchanged my voucher in October and they did not ask to see a receipt.

I have never been told to check for a receipt when converting a voucher to a ticket. However, if it is a voucher for a Florida AP I have to (and will) ask for Florida ID for each person age 18 or older.

hmmm, weird....even my mom and sister were asked to show theirs. My mom's voucher number and the one listed on the receipt and boy she had problems at guest services...the acted like she had found a receipt and was trying to pull a scam...luckily she actually had her credit card bill in her planner and she whipped it out. It took over an hour at AK guest services and this was in the middle of the year in '04.

these were all purchased at the Disney Store in a mall, wonder if that makes a difference?
