Actually sounds like a pretty good deal to me, esp if you'll use it for more than one day. Cheaper than a rental if you use it for a few days. I'd probably buy one for the trip and then pay it forward by passing it on to another family.
We purchased two of the $40 umbrella strollers for our week at Disney. We really liked them and we thought they were well worth the money. They were much more sterdy than the cheapo umbrella strollers we had from Wal-mart. They fold pretty easily. And, it would have cost us over $100 for a rental...we figured we might as well take these home with us and have something to show for that money. We plan on using them again next year.
Add me to the wow list. I didn't realize that they sell them there! I have been debating back and forth on what to do. I'll need two or a double as both my DD's will likely need the break!
They are much better than the $15 ones at Walmart! They have a sturdy back, they recline, they have a sun shade and they have a small basket! I think they are Kolcraft (someone correct me if I'm wrong). They fold pretty easily and are very lightweight. They are black and red, of course!
It is Kolcraft. We had to buy one because when we got off the bus from AK to BC, I noticed the stroller we had was missing a wheel. I have no idea how that happened. It had all wheels when I folded it to get on the bus, but when we got off, one wheel was missing. We searched the bus to no avail.
I would post the picture except we left our camera/camcorder on the plane coming home.
Do you think maybe we should have just stayed home?
That stroller actually seems like it would be worth $40. I've seen it in Burligton Coat Factory and it looks pretty nice and retailed for about $40. Thanks everyone!
