My son recently got into Hawaiian shirts. Do they sell Trader Sam shirts or any Hawaiian shirts at the Poly???

Disney Hawaiian shirts is all I wear to the parks, They have hawaiian shirts at Boutiki in the Poly. I would also check out the marketplace at Yacht/Beach Club, Bayview Gifts in the contemporary, Screendoor general store at the Boardwalk and then there is a store on sunset blvd at DHS(can't remember the name, its right next to Legends of Hollywood) These all have a good selection of various Hawaiian/Tommy Bahama shirts.

They also sell some, including camp style shirts, on Shop Disney. I have bought several for my husband. I think they have a bunch of Star Wars ones right now.

The gift shop on the ground floor of the Poly has a large selection of Aloha shirts. They include Tommy Bahama (read expensive) brand, Kahala (authentic Hawaiian, my favorite and less expensive than TB), and Disney's own label.

They currently (well as of two weeks ago) had one with a fairly subtle design of Polynesian resort icons. There was also one with more tiki face type motif (but can’t swear it was specifically Trader Sam’s this) but there were only two smalls left in that one. Now they could’ve gotten a truckload the next day…plus they had all the non-Disney design ones like PP noted.

Thank you so much. He just got into Hawaiian shirts so I'll check out all your suggestions. He is tall and wears a XXL so I'm hoping I can find a few to look at.

Well you can check your budget and decide if you want to show him or not…..but go check out Jeff Granito designs. I loooooove his stuff but just can’t quite justify the price.

If he wouldn't mind used (umm I mean "vintage") shirts check ebay, I've bought several that I really love that are long out of print for a lot less than the new shirts cost in the park. Though not dirt cheap...you can still expect to pay at least $20-30 for stuff in good condition.

Another option is to just order directly from the source: https://kahala.com

When visiting Hawaii several years ago we stopped at this authentic Hawaii shop. They have really good clothing with lots of choices. We've returned several times since then. I've also bought several at the Poly.

As someone who has also just recently gotten into hawaiian shirts as a 28 yo woman, your son has good style. :thumbsup2 But I know Kohls also has some Disney-based hawaiian shirts as well. I have a bright green/flowery Steamboat Willie hawaiian, super soft and fun to wear!
