I received the AAA discount on our AKL concierge stay. I think AP can also be used.

I used a great room only(over 40%) on concierge in 2002 then did a package with discount in Jan 04. I also got a reservation for AP in Jan 04 but the packaged seemed like a better deal (I didn't know I'd be back so soon!) Now I've got a AAA discount for Oct but am hoping for AP.

I have the 5 for 7 discount on the Contemporary 14th floor. (Everybody always told me this floor is never discounted.)

I originally booked BC concierge w/ a AAA discount, but switched to the 5+2 when it came out.

The AP discounts used to be a lot more generous (about 35-40%) but this round for the summer has amounted to $75 off any deluxe resort room, so the more expensive the room, the less of a discount. On our room at the BWI, this translated to only 15%, which was the old Disney Club discount (before it went to 10% on deluxes). A small discount is better than no discount, but with increasing attendance, WDW seems to be pulling back on discounts, or encouraging packages with admission (7 for 5 or 4).

I have been able to get an AP rate on concierge rooms at the AKL during the winter value season of both 2003 and 2004.

We are just back (June 8th-16th) regular season and got ap rates for poly lagoon view concierge (very popular and kept calling almost daily until all days were available) and AKL concierge. Our rates including tax were 457 for poly and 404 for akl. Compared to the nightmare of a check in at our regular room at BWI at beginning of trip, these resorts were incredible and both worth every penny! We are already looking into going back for a long weekend at the holidays (gotta use those ap's) and won't consider not going concierge. Hopefully, there will be ap discounts then too. If not, AAA.
