Do they every do early checkin?

We arrive at the airport at 12:30 the first day and plan to try to check in at the hotel and get to the park as soon as possible. I understand checkin is at 3PM and we can leave our luggage ... but after the park we won't get back to the hotel until 10 or so... will they still have check in at this time?

do the early check in.

it might be easier than trying to check in when you are so tired.

also the earlier your check in the better rooms are available some times.

No problems with checking in early. If your room isn't ready they will give you a phone number to check when it is ready. You can head off to the park and when you return to the resort no need to visit the front desk again.

Absolutely check in the moment you get there. You might get lucky and get a room right away.

I ALWAYS get a room when I first Check in, even BEFORE 2:00pm!

I've been given my room as early as 9:00 am before.

I checked into POFQ back in Feb at about 9:15 am and received a room right away - not only that but it was in building 4 as I requested and near an elevator.

I agree. Go with early check-in. They will assign you your room then and give you your key. If you do have a specific request, you have a better chance of getting it if you don't actually need to be in the room until later. We were able to get a North Wing ground floor room with a patio at the Contemporary by doing this.

We have checked in at 6am...sometimes the room was ready, sometimes it wasn't. Not a problem, just leave your luggage and go have fun.

go for it. all they can do is tell you your room is not available. we always leave home around 6am and will check in around 8:30- 9am. I have never had a problem at the disney resorts only the swan. it wasnt ready until 10am.

Check in when you arrive, store your bags and go have fun. When you return no matter what the time, your room will be ready and you can get your bags.

I've checked in as early as 4am due to time mis-calculations on my first drive down. They gave us the room and didnt charge us a dime. Only time i ran into problems was arriving this december at 8am they were at full capacity in the hotel so they needed mousekeeping (which starts at 8:30a) to clean out a non-express check out room...

Good luck 12pm you shouldnt have a problem

I have always been able to get into my room when checking in before 3. We have arrived at 11, 1 and 2 and gotten our room. The only time you never get your room early is at a DVC resort. I'm lucky if I get my room at 3:58!! (check-in is at 4 at those resorts)
