Do these Dollar codes give you the free additional driver?

I have been trying out the codes kiss2 and ocvb. I got a good rate for a Magnum (sp) for Oct 20 - 28 at $190.00 with taxes. It does not list that an extra driver is included. Additional driver charge is $8 per day! That would be an extra $64 plus tax. Alamo with the Costco codes it comes right up that you get the Costco discount and amount, the coupon discount for free day and amount and the free additional driver. At Alamo, the rate I got was $188.06 for the intermediate car with both of us driving. Hubby saw the Magnum and thought it would be cool - this is an adults only trip. I thought I read on the Magicard site that the code was to give the additional driver. Anyone use these codes at Dollar and what did it include?
Thanks for your help with this! :teeth:

Hi Camping Mom,
If you use the CD# oi1054 it will give you a special discounted rate, free unlimited mileage nationwide, free additional driver fees and no drop off fees in Florida.
If you use the promo code OCVB it gives you a special rate. It doesn't say anything about a free additional driver.
Hope this helps.

When using oi1054 do you need any coupon or documentation?
This is a corporate code from the Orlando Magicard. You can download a free Magicard online per mousesavers...here is the link to do that...

HTH!

To the OP - I don't think any of the other Dollar codes give a free additional driver...try the oi1054 by entering it in the Corporate # area on the online reservation. I've read that it has worked for some...if it doesn't work you can call Dollar and use the code to check rates. Checking my dates the rates come up MORE expensive than if I just don't use a code with Dollar...

:ssst: I consider it a bonus to NOT be able to drive on vacation...oops, sorry hon, the extra driver cost more.

Even after many years of driving in Orlando, I think the markings/directional signs are horrid.
DH caught on & said it'd be okay if I spent the extra $$ so I could drive sometimes too.

I guess we won't be going with Dollar. I am going to stick with the Alamo rate I got. The rates keep dropping as we get closer and the extra driver free saves $9.99 per day (I just looked at my confirmation). Unless a good code comes out, Alamo it is.
