Do the point requirements ever change?

Do the point requirements ever change? This might be a stupid question. Obviously, it would totally defeat the "inflation" argument for buying into DVC, but I just had to ask.

The total points at any DVC resort may not change, but they may be reallocated. This has happened once at OKW in 1996. A few nights went up and a few went down. Mostly, they lowered some of the weekend nights and raised some value season weeknights.

It's not something which is likely to happen often, but it can happen.
