Do the onsite resorts offer an annual pass discount? **UPDATE** with more ??

I was able to get an annual pass discount to the Renaissance....great rate btw! I have a confirmation # so hopefully all is fine.

But here's my next question that I can't get the answer to....If Sesame Place offers the super grover pass on discount black Friday like they have years past then I would like to buy that . But will that still work to get the AP rate at the hotel? I have called SO many people throughout SeaWorld and the resorts and no one seems to know much of anything! It's so hard to get an actual answer. We're driving from Ohio and I can't afford to get there and not get the great AP rate!

I'm really starting to get frustrated trying to plan our Seaworld trip.

We'd like to go Dec. 26 - Jan.2 Pricing it out, it's better for me to buy annual passes for everyone vs. a package. And we will be returning to the Seaworld atleast twice within the year.

I've called both Renaissance Inn and Residence Inn multiple times.

Residence Inn:

1st call~ No annual pass discounts ever
2nd call~ No discounts during that time
3rd call~ yes but you have to book it through Seaworld at the front gates.

Renaissance Inn:

1st call~ Yes to discounts but they aren't out yet.
2nd call~ Gave me the exact prices per night ( which were great btw!!). Was ready to book but she put me on hold and got disconnected!
3rd call~ Called right back, got a different employee, told NO discounts during that time frame. Ugh!!

4th call~ Seaworld doesn't offer annual passes.


So here I am a week later, STILL no answers! And I really need to know! Is there someplace else I can call directly? Has anyone gotten a room discount as an annual pass holder at these resorts? TIA for any help you might be able to give me.

You know that is a question I have never asked but have never seen an option for it. I was trying to price out hotels for that same time. We have APs and even in the AP section of SW website nothing there. Maybe try calling SW and see if they know. I don't recall it being one of the perks of the AP though.

The fact that you're having such a hard time leads me to believe they don't offer an AP discount at hotels. Plus the passports don't have an expiration date on it so the hotel really wouldn't know if you're eligible or not, that's the biggest thing that leads me to thinking they don't offer discounts.

Actually when you go into the pass member section you can get discounts on the SW partner hotels . I tried to get one during the Bands and BBQ weekends but couldn't get one then, so probably only when hotels are not booked 100%. Quick glance and it looks like a 20-30% off at most of the partner hotels.

I can see in the passholder section on seaworld's site a blurb saying discounts are offered, but no way to book them.?
