Do the onsite resorts have any character meals?

We are staying at The Hard Rock in July and I thought I read on here some
where before that one of the resorts as a meal with Scooby
We already did the one in IOA with Spidey, Cat in The Hat

I think it was the Tuesday last year that Scooby and Shaggy where in the Islands at RPR. They will always tell you at the concereige when you are there.

Are all character meals at the hotels buffet? Which character dinner have the best food? We are planning to do one character breakfast in the park and one dinner at a hotel; and would like a recommendation. Thanks.

At the Islands Restaurant at RPR, it is just your normal style dining but the characters make appearances.
