:woohoo:

Yes, we are officially crazy to go during THE busiest week of the year!

No, we did not get a special rate.

But, we are still SOOOO excited to be headed to spend time with Mickey, Ariel, and all their friends at this magical place called WDW! :jumping1:

So, who else is with me? What are you looking most forward to? Here's my short list:

1. My daughter's face when she meets the princesses for lunch @ CRT princess:
2. New Year's Eve dinner @ Ohana while hopefully enjoying Wishes and the Electrical Water Parade pixiedust:
3. Candelight Processional :littleangel:
4. Toy Story Mania

What are you nervous about? Here's another short list:

1. Losing my 15 month old in a crowd! :scared1:
2. Trying to get through a crowd with my double Combi stroller :scared:
3. Successfully entertaining my children while in lines :hourglass

Here's to ringing in 2010 @ WDW!

I'll be there too.

No worries here, other than the general ones of traveling with a teenager and hoping that the weather will cooperate for the air travel.

We are looking forward to Christmas at Epcot in the World Showcase, Resort Decorations, and all the photos my DD will be taking with her new DSLR camera (Christmas Gift).

I'll be there BY MYSELF Dec. 21, 22, and 23 with my family DH, DS17 and DS15 joining me on Christmas Eve. Dinner on Christmas Eve at Jiko. Christmas dinner at Chefs de France. I'll be happy when my family arrives, but I'm also REALLYlooking forward to doing whatever I want..going to look at the decorations at all the resorts, eating when I want, taking all the magic in with no one complaining. Teenagers tend to complain a lot!! I've never done anything like this before...can't wait. I don't even care about the crowds. When the family comes, we'll stay out late for the rides at EMHs. Staying at a BCV studio first, then moving to a BCV 1 bed until Dec. 28th. It can't come soon enough!! Patty :santa:

This will be our first Christmas at the Resort -planning on being at BWV either the 22nd or 23rd till Jan 2. We've done NYE for many many years, but never Christmas! We can't wait! We're driving, so we'll take a small tree, etc for the Villa -we're going to be in a Boardwalk view Studio (small but worth it!!)
We're already planning what other Christmas stuff we're going to bring!

We are taking DD, 3, for the first time over Christmas and I can't wait. It is only 7 weeks away but it seems so much longer. I am looking forward to the decorations and staying at BLT and AKV Kidani Village for the first time. I am also looking forward to going with my dad, stepmom and step brother. The only thing I worry about is the crowds, which I know will be heavy but that's okay I prepared. :goodvibes

So excited for our trip Dec 26-30th! My husband's whole family will be with us and none of the 8 children even know yet. Santa is surprising them all!

I'm especially excited about seeing the Castle all lit up with the beautiful lights. I know it's gonna be crowded but as soon as I see all the decorations it will be worth it. My DH and I took the kids for Thanksgiving week back in 06 and it was awesome seeing the decorations for the first time but the castle was not done the way it is now. Oh and I can't forget about Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights! Love them too!

Our two nephews who are 3 have never been to WDW and their parents are looking forward to getting those priceless first pics with Mickey! I'm sure it will be extra magical with all of our family there together at Christmastime!

I'll be there with the rest of you crazies :rotfl2:.

We arrive 12/25 and leave 1/1.

I'm nervous about navigating the crowds with my double stroller. Thankfully it's not a gigantic one, I have the Chicco Trevi Twin. I'm nervous about my almost 4yr old melting down. I'm nervous about how my custom cake to celebrate DS's bday will come out. I'm nervous about me being so neurotic :rolleyes1.

I'm excited about seeing the magic through my ODS's eyes and feeling the magic myself. It's been 7.5yrs since my last WDW trip and my first with children, I think my magic tank is running low:wizard:.

We arrive 12/22 and leave 1/2

We are braving the Christmas Crownds as our son is on the college program and if we don;t go to Disney, we won't see him at Christmas.

We includes myself (of course) husband, and twin daughters age 21.

My brother and his partner are joining us there too.

We are looing forward to:

Seeing our son

seeing our son in his cast member role

Staying at AK (we are DVC members and this is our first trip as such)

Afternoon tea at Grand Floridian

New Years Eve around the world

Seeing all the resorts decorated.

Not looking forward to

the crowds

I have been looking for this thread everywhere!! I am so excited to have found a group of people going the same time as me! People are saying its going to be crazy busy but so what! We are going to be in the happiest place! Right?
