Do the Disney Characters visit the off site hotels??? Like Dream Castle Hotel ??

Ive heard very positive reviews about the Dream Castle Hotel and a couple of other off site Hotels.... im really looking forward to our stay there, but was wondering whether the characters visit like they do in the Disney Hotels???

No I am afraid not - when we stay at The Explorers there is a Parrot that has seen better days though :rotfl2:

PS - Not a real Parrot - someone dressed up !!!! :lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: a parrot, how cute!

Might be dressed up Knights at The Dream Castle cus thats their theme....
Never mind will be plenty of characters at the park and some resturants :)

One of the down sides of not staying in Disney is the lack of characters :)

Theres nothing to stop you visiting the onsite hotels tho and just happening to be there when the characters are. DD had a wonderful time dancing with Mickey at new York hotel in Summer as we were walking thro to the carpark and a great time playing with Pluto in S Lodge at christmas when we'd called in for a drink

Thats good, which HOTELS would you all recommend that worth visiting for a drink and a nice play area for the kids.....
Will be nice to have a drink and relax on one of the days but couldnt possibly know which to choose...

so anyone can drink / eat in any of the hotels ?

even DLH ?!

:)

You can even just go in for a nosey around, I've done that at DLH, just to see what I was missing. LOL

The DLH has the character dinner at Inventions, you may have heard people mention it, it's very popular, but relatively expensive in comparison to other character meals in the park. The only other time I've been into DLH was to cancel our reservation, when we found out we were invited to stay in the park for the press event last year. So it's back on our "to do" list. :)

I have never made it to Inventions yet - it is expensive but will go when the kids would be more appreciative of the food :goodvibes

We have been for a drink at the bar though which was lovely :)
