Do the beds split on the Dream and Fantasy?

I've done the Dream...my friend had the bed and I had the couch. If you can get past the basic "unfairness" that one person has a queen bed and the other has what is basically a twin and you're each paying the same money, there isn't anything wrong with the couch, it isn't uncomfortable or anything. I'm not small, either. And I think the bed that results when the couch is made up is actually larger than the split beds on the Wonder/Magic. I'll check when I get on the Wonder in a couple of weeks and the beds are split.

Yes, at the beginning of this when the Dream was launched I saw a lot of "stop complaining and share the bed" but sharing a queen bed with a friend? no thanks.

We just got off the Fantasy on Saturday and our stateroom had the Single Sofa Sleeper and a pull down Single Murphy bed. My DH & I slept in the the queen bed while our 2 kids took the Singles. We did not even pull down the "bed from the sky" this time. This was one of those rooms that sleeps 5 ... so says Disney. There are many different room types on the ship. This was a 4C room on deck 7.

The problem is 3 adults in the room.... Friends.... not husband/wife or bf/gf and not exactly feeling comfortable rubbing butts if you will, with a friend. I mean love her and all... but that's doing too much.

Now the pull down... is there a weight limit? :confused3
