Do studios ajoin?

Is there such a thing? And if not, can you get studios next to one another when making a ressie?

No, I don't believe they do. I was told that you can request to have the studios close by but it is not guaranteed, only a request.

I don't believe there are any adjoining studios that have a "shared" door to enter each unit from inside each unit. As far as right next to one another I am really not sure

I found this - it looks as if TYPE D bldgs (see 2nd post in thread) there are studios next to each other but as previously poster pointed out it would be a request and not a guarentee.

None of the DVC resorts have connecting studios - except the Inn Rooms at VB. OKW has a few buildings with studios next to each other, but these do not connect to each other - they connect to a 1BR and form a 2BR lockoff. These are found in Buildings 14,18,35 and 38 at OKW.

Yes, but at OKW ALL studios are lock offs from 2 bedroom units. That's why it lists a studio next to a 1 bedroom. When you see the two studios back to back, they are actually in the same corner of the building, but since it's a request, it would be pretty far fetched to get one. I suppose you could request specific buildings, but even then you might end up on different floors or even opposite ends of the building.

Yes, the OKW type D (U-Shaped) buildings do have a few studios next to each other, there is no connecting door. We had two studios a couple of years ago, and they were next door. However, in all the years we have traveled to OKW with guests, that has been the only time the studios were right next door.

They are often "stacked" or at opposite ends of the buildings, or sometimes in adjacent buildings. We have never been clear across the resort from the rest of our party, they have always book us into rooms that were convenient.
