Do small bottles 8 pk water at BC marketplace a snack credit?

Is the small bottles of water that come in an 8 pk at BC marketplace a snack credit? It is under $5 and with my AP discount they came in are 3.80 . My mind is telling me when I bought the 2 of them the CM checking me out asked if I was on the DDP.

I doubt it, snack credits are touted as single serve items only
