Do restaurants close during Halloween party?

We are going to the party in early October on a weekday and I was wondering if anything closes early during the party like restaurants or stores? Or do the restaurants stay open until an hour before the party ends?

Also any tips on the party in general? The Halloween thread has gotten to big to read through. We are not interested in trick or treating. Just rides and maybe Halloween shows/fireworks if they are any good.

Also can an adult wear face paint that covers their entire face like make my face look like a skeleton? I know we can't wear any kind of mask but I have not read anything about face paint.

Yes, TS restaurants close before the party. The last reservations are usually 90 minutes or so before park closing (closing time for day guests) so that everyone can eat and finish their meal before the party starts. CS places stay open, but not all of them. There will be a list on your party map of what places are open. DtD places stay open, so it is always an option to dine there for sit down.
I know the superthread seems overwhelming, but it really is a great source of info. Just skim through the first few pages, then check the last few for updates and recent info. All your questions have been asked and answered there in the last few days. Face paint is allowed, as long as the eyes are clearly visible. The question came up regarding scary face paint, and the consensus was that erring on the side of family/kid friendly is the better option.

I think it does. Ask in the superthread, just to be sure. If someone there ate at the PI at a party last year or if it was closed, they will let you know.

Eat before the party. The CS places that remain open are usually crowded, have long waits, are across the park from you, or all three.

Absolutely true. It's a hassle to find a place that's open, then when you do the line is always long and there's nowhere to sit. Do yourself a favor and eat before the party.

We did 2 parties last year. The first one we had corn dogs in line waiting for Toontown preparty to open. Then later in the evening we were hungry and stopped at the Jolly Holiday bakery. It was a big pain fighting the crowds there.

Our second party we made an ADR at the Carnation Café just before the party. We still got a little hungry late but just ate snacks from the trick or treat trails. That worked so much better because we didn't have to give up a block of party time to do it.
