Do prices ever lower after booking with DU?

We are thinking about a cruise next year. The only thing credit we can get is with DCC. We are member of AAA but their rates are a little high. Do rates ever lower after booking? Will DU notify us if they do?

2 differernt times that I have booked through DU prices have lowered and I have been notified via email! It is wonderful and a huge reason why I book though DU- they are great. BUT it doesn't always happen so I wouldn't depend on it happening.

Yes indeed, it does happen.
We book all our cruises via DU, and although it is not a routine occurrence, it has happened often enough to make me glad they monitor the prices.

About two weeks before we were set to sail (Feb. 8/03 Eastern) we received a credit of $460 to our credit card. I think we used that credit to justify spending extra money a few times over, but nonetheless, we were very pleased to receive this. It also helps for you to check the DCL website occasionally in case DU misses the reduction...
