Do people in your "real life" understand your love of the DIS??

In regular conversation, I may tell dh that someone on the DIS said this.......or suggested that..........or I'll just mention something interesting I learned from you great people! Dh just looks at me as if I'm crazy! He thinks I need a life!!!!!! Anyone else??

my husband completely understands that I have little access to "the real world" right now, and that the DIS and the net in general, have become my world. But I try not te mention it to other people because I hate to watch their eyes glaze over.

My whole family knows I am DIS addicted. They even know people at the DIS are real when they got to meet Tuffcookie and her son at our spring vacation to the world. My best friend just doesnt get it, she always says, dont you want to go anywhere else on vacation. I did actually meet her at disney once for lunch with her boyfriend and his kids. She is definetely not in the Disney loop. My relatives know we go to disney every year but they dont know about my DIS Board habits. Hmm, they dont have to know everything do they, I do have some personal life. I dont ask them all their business either.

Yes, I have this problem! I find myself telling people - "Oh yeah, I read something about that..." and then sometimes I tell them it's on this Disney site that I like to read. They think I'm crazy!

I know my husband doesn't understand the community board and wonders why I check this "Disney" site to find out the latest about reality TV.

Some days I do spend too much time here and need to "get a life!" But you guys are just too much fun!

My dh knows I come here a lot and he doesn't care either way. But when I told him about the lime green Mickey heads and how some DISers wear lime green at WDW he thought that was funny/odd. lol He asked if I was going to do it on our trip next year, and I said maybe! He just laughed at me. He goes along with whatever I want to do, I love him.

My DBF just doesn't get the DIS. I tell him about stuff I learn on here and he always says..who said that? why? How do you know? He is always wondering why I go to the DIS if I am not planning a Disney vacation. I have to let him know how great you all are.

I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking about DIS more than once or twice a day.
My family has me in charge of our second trip to WDW in two years and they have a hard time beleiving that their dad can get so interested in something like this.

i am getting my dh hooked on the dis boards!!!!! I had them on my computer and left it and he got on it and started to read some of the posts and now he comes here everyday! I guess the dis boards are just contagious!!!

The disboards are contagious! I spend all kinds of time here. Unfortunatly no one in my real world knows about it.....heck most of the people in my real world (that arent related to me that is) don't get the whole disney obsession! I really do feel sorry for them

Maybe one day they will see the Dis for the wonder that it is!

My family is always calling me saying, "Will you ask the DIS this or that"? Seriously.

My dad actually told me about the board...not realizing of course that he was contributing to an addiction.
