Do Park Hopper Plus options - can they all be used in one place?

The last time we went to Disney World, we stayed on property and had the passes that expired at the end of our stay.

This time we are going to get 7 day Park Hopper Plus passes, but I thought of a question and I haven't seen the answer here on the boards (I apologize in advance if it's here).

Can we use the plus part of the pass in the same park for four days, or do we have to use it in the different options that are listed. For example, can we go to Blizzard Beach for four days or do we have to go to Typhoon Lagoon, Pleasure Island, etc.

Thanks....this is my first post by the way, I finally got approved. I have AOL and it was impossible to get that confirmation email. Finally joined Yahoo just to get on here. I love this website....I am so hooked! ::MinnieMo

I am quite sure that you can use all of your plus features in the same place.... if you wanted to use all of them in TL you could. Especially since during the low season there is only one water park open each month, so you would be limited as to where you could use your "plus"es. Just remember, you cannot "hop" with the plus features (i.e. TL in the morning, PI at night... that would use two plus features). HTH..................P

Welcome! I live in Upstate NY too! Corning to be exact.

And the answer to your question is yes. You could use all of your pluses on Blizzard Beach if you wanted to.

Please note that while you can use all 4 plusses at one place, only one person can use the plus at the same time meaning, you can't have four left over plusses and get your family of four into the water park.

Pjlla,

I was just reading your post about the plus features, and am worried about one water park being closed each month. Yikes! We are planning our first Disney trip Oct 17-31/04. We are totally looking forward to the water parks. Should I be calling WDW before I purchase our parkhopper tickets, to find out for sure if a water park is closed in October?

There are 2 water parks in Disney (not to mention your resort pool if you are staying on property), Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Both are similar so you wouldn't be missing out greatly if indeed one was closed.

In our opinion the only really significant feature that is radically different at each park is that TL has the "swim with the sharks in a cold saltwater pool" feature while Blizzard Beach has an extra long family raft ride with a ski lift access feature. (Oh, and also, if you are planning on playing miniature golf after swimmimg, the Blizzard Beach entrance is right next to the WinterLand/Summerland entrance.)

Yes, I know the themes are different and the water slides/tunnels are somewhat different at each park, but in essence, the layout is similar, both have wave pools, lazy rivers, kiddie sections, a steep, steep water slide etc. etc. etc...both are fun. (If you can't go to both this time you will have something a little different to look forward to on your next visit...it's actually more fun not to try and cram every different experience into your first vacation anyway...it's always exiting to return and have something to do that you've never done before)

Thank you for the reasurrance. I guess in a way I'm trying to cram as much into our 14 days as possible. We have been saving for 4 1/2 years for this trip, and I don't think it will be easily done again, so of course I want everything to be perfect. We are cutting out Universal and Busch Gardens, opting for the Disney Parks and maybe SeaWorld instead. We also pna on spending a day at the beach. Any suggestions about a nice one to visit? I just hope that there are some palm trees left after the storms rage through!

OOPS! That was supposed to say PLAN on spending a day at the beach.

Blizzard Beach closes on October 24th for refurbishing, so you want to get there before that date.

n2mm - thanks for that very helpful info. Our itinerary had us going to TL Oct 18 and BB Oct 25, but now we'll just reverse those plans (if TL is open on the 25th). I love these boards. Thanks again!
