If you had to "do over" your trip what would you change to make it even better?

This time I'm planning to make sure we see more shows and enjoy world showcase more.

When my DS's want to go back to the resort to swim, we should leave the park and just swim and have fun at the resort.

Really take our time looking at things and not feeling that we have to rush to get to everywhere.

Don't give my DH the "look" at certain times throughout the trip.

We go in August. Do you think that I will be able to follow thru on these? I will try, but I still think my DH will get the "look".

I am going November 2007, and am already thinking of what i'm going to do different. The main thing is taking breaks and not trying to rush to do everything. I know there will be many other trips to Disney, so we don't have to do everything, especially with little kids! I am going to enjoy our trip much more.

I am with the other posters, enjoying our time and not feeling/being rushed. We are planning for Feb. 2007 now and also extending our stay to 10 days from 7. DS7 loved going to the pool, so instead of rushing around to get from here to there and see this and that, take our time and relax. After all we are on vacation!

My do over would be go to for a longer stay. We went on a quick Spring Break trip this year and didn't stay long enough. With more time, I wouldn't have felt so rushed. I like to have some "chill" days. On this last trip, we didn't have any!

Last year we didn't book our trip w/ the Park Hopper- We ended up adding it to our tickets when we were there but it would have came in handy earlier in our trip but other then that I wouldnt change a thing. :woohoo:

Next trip, end of July, we are planning on just spending the rest of our travel day in the pool and at DTD. When I went last month, I headed straight to Epcot and was just too tired to really enjoy it and spend the rest of the day. We never even got to the World Showcase.

ALSO, next time on EE I am going to keep my eyes open. I don't remember being as close to the Yeti as my kids say we were. I guess when your screaming at the top of your lungs, your eyes are shut!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

This year we're definitely taking it slower. DD is 16 and is getting a little worn out on WDW and hates the getting up early thing. We told her this year, she could join up with us later(will be 17) and just sleep in. We'll probably still not get up quite as early and definitely just "stroll" thru the parks. We've seen it all and rushing around just makes more stress. I think we'll just try to soak it all in more and take in the finer details!

Also, seeing as we usually only stay for 5-7 days, I look forward to the time when we can go for 10 days to 2 weeks!
