I ordered a red Minnie t-shirt for my future stepmother. Her name is Minnie and loves all things Minnie Mouse so I thought it would be nice to get her a Minnie tee from WDW. I used shoptheparks.com to place my order.

Here's the problem.

The shirt I got was NOT the one I ordered. There was a note attached to my order form saying that the one I wanted was discontinued (even though they still have it as available on their website) so they sent me what was 'current.' (current translates to "the ugliest Minnie t-shirt available at WDW!...not kidding!) They also state that if I'm "unpleased" to return it. Duh!

Forget that they had my number *AND* email address to let me know about the change! I would've cancelled my order and bought her something else! Now it's Christmas eve and I have nothing to give her!

Needless to say, I will never shoptheparks.com ever again! They were truly unprofessional by not making an effort to contact me about the change. (and again...they still have the red minnie shirt I originally ordered on their site!!!!!!!!!!)

I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone. If you do order from them...beware.

I hate when sites do stuff like this! I wouldn't shop with them again
either!

I ordered some stuff for Christmas from another site, the site stated
everything was in stock, but I got an email on Tuesday that one item
was backordered so they were holding my whole order waiting for the
one item to come in! They didn't ask me if I just wanted the partial order
AND....HELLO! didn't they think about it being Christmas and most things
were probably gifts? Plus I placed the order 2 days after Thanksgiving!

I emailed them and cancelled the entire order and an explination of what customer service is.

I calling you to check would have required some effort which seems to be a lot to ask for these days I think they were probably afraid that you would cancel your order and they would lose business ... Just a guess.

You can order WDW merchandise directly from Disney. I don't have the e-mail address or the phone number on hand but if you do a search on the Theme Parks board, you'll definitely find it.
