Do more FP times open up at the 30 day mark?

Hi! We are planning a trip to WDW with my parents in April. We are all staying on property. My parents haven’t been to WDW in a long time. (So long that my mom even offered to wait for us at the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground while we ride a certain ride. ). Their last trip was in 1996 to be exact! So lots of changes. I tried to offer getting FP for them and adding them to our MDE but they were positive that they could handle it. Long story short, I now have them linked in my MDE with their reservations. I’m trying to get them FP around the times our family of 6 have them but of course nothing is available now. In fact, some are not available at all. My question is, if I get up at 7am EST 30 days prior will more times/rides be listed? I’ve always booked right at the 90 day out mark so I don’t know if some FP get held back for those 30 day reservations. Thank you for your help!!

Once FPs for a day are gone, they are gone. Until the day of. Sometimes you can get lucky and someone cancels or changes and there are ones that appear, but, generally there will be a few that show up the day before and then more day of as the day progersses.

Agreed - we've not seen any indication that they open up more at 30 days - although I know many folks wish that was the case! Keep checking back, and you might get lucky for a few more. If people are being respectful, if they don't need fast passes, they'll cancel them so someone else can pick them up - that's what you need to watch for.

If you keep checking you can find previously unavailable FPs from time to time in the weeks leading up to your date. People cancel or move their trips and drop their FPs. The day before is a good time to check a few times and the morning of (before park open) are good times too. And as pp says, day of you can get lucky.

Also watch for park hours to change. They will add more FPs to the system when that happens.

Sometimes the system shows more "flexibility" if you try adding guests to your existing FastPass+ selections (using the "Add Guests" feature) rather than trying to make entirely new selections for the additional folks. You might have tried this already without luck, but just in case . . .

Disney doesn't add additional FP at 30 days, but it's worth noting that the cancellation policy for packages is 30 days from arrival without a penalty. So leading up to that date may have some people cancelling their trip and associated FP.

Yesterday was my 30 days for Hollywood studios (staying off site), I was able to get toy story mania at 9, Mickey and Minnie’s runaway railway at 10, and tower of terror at 11 all for 5 people! I was totally shocked! If they didn’t drop some more FPs at 30 days, I don’t know what kind of miracle happened that allowed me to get all 3 of those at a desirable time for 5 people!

Yesterday was my 30 days for Hollywood studios (staying off site), I was able to get toy story mania at 9, Mickey and Minnie’s runaway railway at 10, and tower of terror at 11 all for 5 people! I was totally shocked! If they didn’t drop some more FPs at 30 days, I don’t know what kind of miracle happened that allowed me to get all 3 of those at a desirable time for 5 people!

I think that's really good fortune, especially the tier 1 pass (M&MR), but I still don't think they added any additional passes.

Yeah I know I got really lucky...all the prior days I had checked HS there were no tier 1 FPs at all, and some days TSM wasn’t available at all, or was only available after 7PM...I couldn’t believe I got everything I wanted before noon during spring break at the 30 day mark for all 5 of us!

You got lucky, as they did add some FP availability over the weekend due to the late March hours change on Friday. So between that and people moving around their FP's when that happened, there were more options than usual.

I didn't see much/any change at the 30 day mark for parks that didn't have hour changes at the same time.
