Do Mickey's Trick or Treats usually sell out in advance?

Hi All!
We are tentatively planning a trip for Oct 17-21 this fall. We will be driving through Anaheim on our way to a family wedding, so figured we'd turn it into a Disney trip too.

I say we are tentative because I will be 34 weeks pregnant with our 3rd child. If my doctor decides at the last minute that I can't go then I'm stuck at home! We have booked our hotel, etc. because we can always cancel with a 24 hour notice. However, we are holding off on buying our park hoppers and Trick or Treat party tickets just in case we end up not making the trip.

Just curious is people know if the Trick or Treat party normally sells out in advance? I'll probably by the tickets about a week before and we'll be attending the Tuesday night party.

You should be okay. Some night do sell out. The October 1st party will probably sell out first, then the parties Halloween weekend (29th and 31st). I'd keep an eye on it and see if parties start selling out and make the decision then if you want to buy them or not. Also, I did hear they reserved some tickets to sell the night of the party, but I don't know if that is true or not.

In general, the Friday night parties sell out quicker than the Tuesday night ones.

You should be fine on those dates. Friday will be a busy day, but I would purchase the tickets immediately before they run out and the advance purchase saves you a few dollars for each ticket.

The only thing I think I would be worried about is the fact that this year I think they are having significantly less parties than they have had in previous years, so they might just sell out
